We have evolved into a tutorial website. We are now making
changes to make it even easier to find rating info on Flood &
Dwelling and
Homeowners rating. And, of course, the more new info we discover
that is Post-Katrina, the more
that will be added.
We are known for our expertise in properly rating flood
insurance. Soon we will be offering flood insurance
nationwide and will make it easy for the user to not only find the
lowest
premiums allowed but show them how to find it or allow us to do it.
If we do it, we would like to be their new
insurance agent for flood insurance.
And, if they are now paying too much and was miss rated by
their current
agent we will provide our proof to the prior company as FEMA allows up
to 6-years
in refunds for miss rating policies.
FEMA plays a major role in all real estate decision making
so it is our
intent to educate the users and our real estate referral base. We
will provide a link to that
site once we are
ready to introduce it.
To help you best navigate our site, the following are a
brief description of what you will find:
Real Estate and Title & Mortgage is being
updated but it will
concentrate on issues and flyers for their use
Advocacy is a list of contact
persons that you can contact, mostly state
elected officials as well as out of state officials that could affect
our
industry. Insurance reform is coming to Louisiana, as such we
show 23
state representatives linked under one email. Let them hear from
you, and
often.
Type of Policies are what we
can do. We would prefer that you call or
email us if you need our help with insurance quotes.
Flood Myths are just that.
Questions and answers on myths that our
citizens need to know the truth.
Meet the Team should be
pictures of my staff but getting them to give me
a good picture has proven impossible so far!
Publications & Links is
one of our most important ways to help the
user. This is where you either find good info or links to find
it.
We don’t want closings stopping because of the high cost of insurance
making
the escrow too high. This is where you can find Louisiana
Citizens Fair
Plan quotes for 3 different types of Property policies. All of them are
acceptable by your lenders. We have now include some examples of
flood quotes
and will be adding other useful info at this location.
Talk it Up are flyers that
show the savings when your home is built at
base flood and then higher than base flood. The higher up your
lowest
floor is the less the flood insurance can cost you. These flyers
are for
locations both inside and outside of Louisiana so you need to find the
one for
your location. Jefferson Parish is 15% CRS and Orleans is 10% and
St.
Bernard and Plaquemine is 0%. The CRS must be known to find the
most
accurate examples of flood premiums.
Flood Facts are general info
on flood insurance with access to the FEMA
library and other important information.
